On Thursday, August 24, 2023, Colonel Dr. Saranyu Viriyawetkul, Deputy Director of the Office of Economic Development Cooperation with Neighboring Countries, headed the delegation. It consists of Mr. Rapipit Phromnarath, Director of the Policy and Planning Office, Ms. Wichulada Phongthorn, an expert fund management officer and Ms. Phanpa Poolmak, a policy and planning analysis officer attending a 4-party meeting between the 11th CEXIM-EDCF-JICA-NEDA Seminar at Conrad Seoul Hotel, Seoul, Republic of Korea under the conference topic “The Overview of Private Sector Development Assistance” The meeting was chaired by Mr. CHO Chung-Hwa, Director General, EDCF Coordination Department. Representatives of agencies attending the meeting included JICA, China Export-Import Bank: CXIM, Economic Development Cooperation Fund: EDCF and NEPA. The purpose of the forum was to exchange knowledge, experiences, tools, mechanisms and development cooperation models that support the “Private Sector Development Assistance” principle. It is in line with the development context and direction that focuses on integrating development cooperation with the private sector in order to achieve concrete and sustainable development cooperation in the Greater Mekong Sub-Region.
