NEDA organized a training project to transfer knowledge to officials from neighboring countries on the course “Debt Management and Debt Sustainability” for fiscal year 2023.

                   Neighboring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (Public Organization) (NEDA) has organized training to transfer knowledge to officials in neighboring countries on the course “Debt Management and Debt Sustainability”. It aims to provide officials in neighboring countries with knowledge and understanding of public debt management, fiscal sustainability, risk management and prevention tools, and the development of financial innovation. There are 19 officials from neighboring countries receiving training, including Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Timor-Leste. NEDA has received cooperation from domestic and international agencies as lecturers to transfer knowledge in this training, including JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency, Agency Françoise de Development (AFD), Faculty of Economic Development from the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) and the Public Debt Management Office (Public Debt Management Office). The training program was held on 28 August - 1 September 2023 at Novotel Sukhumvit 20, Bangkok.
