NEDA follows up on the progress of the project to develop the Stung Bot permanent border crossing and a road linking it to Road No. 5, Kingdom of Cambodia.

                  Mr. Peeramet Wutthithornnetirak, Director of the Office of Economic Development Cooperation with Neighboring Countries and Colonel Dr. Saranyu Viriyawetkul, Deputy Director along with the executive team and officials follow the progress of the project to develop the permanent border crossing at Stung Bot and the road linking it to Road No. 5, Kingdom of Cambodia and attend a meeting with the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation : MPWT led by H.E. Dr. Yit Bunna, Secretary of State to discuss policy and direct the project operations to be more efficient and able to be completed within the specified time period at Ban Stung Bot, Poipet Subdistrict, O Choo District, Banteay Meanchey Province, Kingdom of Cambodia.

The visit, at the invitation of the AIIB, aimed to discuss collaborative approaches for financial assistance in developing infrastructure within the Mekong sub-region and to exchange visions for infrastructure development in the area.
