Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks, President of Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (Public Organization) (NEDA) along with H.E. Mr. Kiattikhun Chartprasert, Thai Ambassador in Royal Thai Embassy Vientiane, Lao PDR participated in the opening and handover ceremony of BanHuak road (Payao), Muang Kob-Muang Xianghon and Muang Kob-Ban Pak Kob-Ban Kon Tuean, Sayaboury district Lao PDR construction project. Dr. Boonjan Sinthavong, the Minister of Ministry of Public Works and Transport; Mr. Pongsawan Sinthavong, Sayaboury governor and Mr. Pang Duang Ngoen, Director General of Ministry of Public Works and Transport also participated in the handover ceremony of such the project which aims to connect Payao province with Sayaboury and Bo Kaeo districts, Lao PDR within the budget of 1,390 Million Baht for road and Ban Pang Mon boarder control facility construction. The project aims for people of both countries (Thailand-Lao PDR) to use this route which was officially opened on 26 July 2019 at Ban Pang Mon boarder, Lao PDR.
