Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks, President of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA), and Mr. Kirati Veruwan, NEDA’s Vice President, traveled to participate in the ceremony for the handover of office equipment and agricultural materials under the Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSER) project to the "Hang Singsawang Community Center" and "Ban Kluai Udom Community Center," located within the construction area of the 5th Thai-Lao Friendship Bridge project. NEDA emphasizes improving the livelihoods of local residents, environmental conditions, and providing amenities to both community centers. These locations serve as focal points and community health centers for the Laotian population, facilitating village meetings and various activities. NEDA has facilitated landscape improvements and environmental enhancements to create a more pleasant living environment, aiming to enhance the quality of life for residents. The event was welcomed by Mr. Vongsay Thongsiinthipanya—Mayor of Pakxan, as the Loa PDR chairman, the Democratic People's Republic of Laos, on June 13, 2024.
