In Loving Memory of His Majesty the Late King Project

Colonel Dr.Saranyu Viriyavejakul, Vice President of NEDA, together with other tenants within Sun Towers, donated craft supplies for making 59,999 funeral wood flowers  to be given to public mourners before the late HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s royal cremation in “In Loving Memory of His Majesty the Late King” Project. In this occasion, Mr. Naris Cheyklin, Chief Executive Officer of Singha Estate Plc, presided over the event and was a representative to receive the supplies on 20 June 2017.

NEDA Participates in The Round Table Meeting among Development Cooperation Agencies of ASEAN Member Countries and Japan in Tokyo, Japan
Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks, President of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (Public Organization) (NEDA), along with Mr. Rapipit Promnart, Director of the Policy and Planning Bureau, attended The Round Table Meeting among Development Cooperation Agencies of ASEAN Member Countries and Japan. The meeting was held in Tokyo, Japan, bringing together representatives from five key organizations: (1) Indonesian Agency for International Development (Indonesian AID), (2) International Cooperation and Development Division (Malaysia), (3) Technical Cooperation Directorate (Singapore), (4) Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), and (5) Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

On October 8, 2024, Professor Tongthong Chandransu, Chairperson of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA), along with Mr. Kirati Veruwan, NEDA Vice President, attended the handover ceremony of the detailed design study for the construction of the Chiang Man-Luang Prabang Bridge in Laos. The event coincided with Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra’s official visit to the Lao People’’s Democratic Republic, held at the Prime Minister’s Office in Vientiane.

Ms. Wilawan Phayanoi, Advisor on Financial and Fiscal System Development, accepted the handover at the 150th Anniversary Building of the Ministry of Finance on October 7, 2024.
