NEDA led the representatives from Bhutan and Cambodia on a study visit to Nong Khai Station in Nong Khai Province.

On February 18, 2025, the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (Public Organization) (NEDA), led by Mr. Rapipit Promnart, Director of Policy and Planning Bureau, facilitated a visit to Nong Khai Station for representatives from the Department of Surface Transportation, Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport (MoIT) of the Kingdom of Bhutan, and the Department of Railway, Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT) of the Kingdom of Cambodia. The objective of the visit was to study and learn about international railway operations and the CIQ (Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine) procedures for cross-border railway operation between Thailand and Lao PDR.

NEDA Joins New Year’s Merit-Making Ceremony at the Ministry of Finance
Mr. Kirati Veruwan, Vice President of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA), along with representatives, participated in a Buddhist chanting and almsgiving ceremony for the monks of Wat Ampawan to mark the New Year 2025. The event was presided over by Mr. Pichai Chunhavajira, Minister of Finance, and included a merit-making and almsgiving ceremony at the Ministry of Finance on January 6, 2025.
