NEDA organized a training project to transfer knowledge to officials from neighboring countries on the course “Debt Management and Debt Sustainability” for fiscal year 2023.

                NEDA has organized training to transfer knowledge to officials from neighboring countries, the course “Debt Management and Debt Sustainability” The objective is to provide officials in neighboring countries with an understanding of public debt management, fiscal sustainability, risk management and prevention tools, and the development of financial innovation. There were 19 officials from neighboring countries receiving training, including Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, and Timor-Leste, and NEDA received cooperation from internal and international agencies as lecturers. It is composed of JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency), Agency Françoise de Development (AFD), Faculty of Economic Development, National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) and the Public Debt Management Office (PDMO). The training program was held on 28 August - 1 September 2023 at Novotel Sukhumvit 20, Bangkok.
