NEDA’s press conference on 13th Anniversary of NEDA

Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks, NEDA’s President, together with Col. Saranyu Viriyavejakul, Ph. D., and NEDA’s Executives, held NEDA’s press conference on the occasion of NEDA’s 13th Anniversary. In this occasion, NEDA’s President gave a statement regarding NEDA’s performance under “NEDA’s 4-year Strategic Plan (2018-2021) with the focal points of; (1) technical and financial cooperation with 7 neighbouring countries (Lao PDR Cambodia Myanmar Vietnam Bhutan Sri Lanka and Timor-Leste); (2) sustainability financial resource management; (3) NEDA’s funding innovation; and (4) integration with related agencies in order to promote efficient economic development cooperation. The event was held on May 11, 2018.

NEDA Collaborates with CIDCA on Financial and Academic Assistance Strategies in China’’s Mekong River Sub-Region
On April 4, 2024, Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks, President of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA), along with a delegation from NEDA, met with Mr. Du Wei, Deputy Director-General of the First Department of Regional Affairs at the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA). The meeting focused on discussing the direction, policies, and mechanisms of financial and academic assistance provided by the People’’s Republic of China in the Mekong River sub-region. During this meeting, NEDA introduced its role and mission to CIDCA, informing the agency of NEDA’’s key role as a Thai governmental body in fostering development cooperation in the Mekong River sub-region.
