Colonel (Ret.) Saranyu Viriyavejakul, D.Sc., Vice President of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA), along with his team, attended the Tripartite Portfolio Performance meeting alongside representatives from the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) of Cambodia, led by H.E. Mr. Pen Thirong, Under Secretary of State, and officials from the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation (MPWT). The meeting, held on January 12, 2024, in the MEF conference room in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, aimed to assess the progress of projects financed by NEDA. This included the development of the Stung Bot permanent border crossing and its connecting road to Road No. 5, and the improvement of Road No. 67, the Siem Reap-An Long Veng-Chum/Sa-ngam route in the Kingdom of Cambodia. Discussions at the meeting covered various aspects such as the selection of consultants and construction firms, procurement processes for consultants and contractors, financial oversight, and overall project management for the aforementioned initiatives.
