Road No. 68 improvement project in Chong Chom/O Smach- Samrong – Kralanh of the Kingdom of Cambodia (NR68 Project) with the officers of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT) and the Department of Public Works and Transport (DPWT) of Cambodia in Siem Reap and Udom Meechai Province during 5th – 6th Janaury 2023 in order to attend the conference and survey the current conditions of the NR68 Road, which is 116 kilometers. The road links the Northeastern part of Cambodia (Udon Meechai Province) and the lower Northeastern part of Thailand (Surin Province, Buri Ram Province and Srisaket Province) through Chong Chom Boder Checkpoint in Kap Choeng District in Surin Province. It is also an importantly potential route for the tourism, economic developments, trades and investments between Thailand and Cambodia. It also improves the competitiveness of the Southern Economic Corridor of Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam.
