Mr. Prasit Suebchana, a board member of NEDA, together with its President and Vice President, led a group of press for Press Tour 2017 to the construction site of Ban Huag (Phayao) - Muang Khob - Muang Xiang Hone and Muang Khob - Ban Pakkhob - Ban Koneteun Road Improvement Projects including the Water Supply Construction Project in Muang Khob, Xaignabouli, Lao PDR. In this occasion, Mr. Phengnirun Khamphanpheng (Deputy Governor of Xayabuly Province Government Office, Xayabuly Province), Col. Khamkueng Phewwana (Superintendent, Xayabuly Police Station), and Mr. Phengsoy Khamphanpheng (Chief, Department of Road Ministry of Public Works and Transport (DPWT), Xayabuly Province) greeted and provided information to their visitors about Pang Mon which will become a permanent border station between Thailand and Lao PDR. Besides, they visited riverside communities to learn the way of life of Ban Pak Khob and Ban Koneteun villagers. The tour was conducted on 16 June 2017.
