Senior Colonel Saranyu Viriyavejakul, D.Sc., Vice President of NEDA visited and paid
respect to H.E. U Kyaw Linn, Deputy Minister of Ministry of Construction on the occasion of
participating in the meeting to check Draft Final Report of the survey and detailed design of
two-lane road improvement project connecting Dawei Special Economic Zone and Thai-
Myanmar boarder, The Republic of the Union of Myanmar with the representatives from Ministry
of Construction led by H.E. U Kyaw Linn, Deputy Minister and H.E. U Win Tint, Permanent
Secretary at Ministry of Construction, Naypyidaw, The Republic of the Union of Myanmar on 16 th
September 2019.

NEDA Participates in The Round Table Meeting among Development Cooperation Agencies of ASEAN Member Countries and Japan in Tokyo, Japan
Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks, President of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (Public Organization) (NEDA), along with Mr. Rapipit Promnart, Director of the Policy and Planning Bureau, attended The Round Table Meeting among Development Cooperation Agencies of ASEAN Member Countries and Japan. The meeting was held in Tokyo, Japan, bringing together representatives from five key organizations: (1) Indonesian Agency for International Development (Indonesian AID), (2) International Cooperation and Development Division (Malaysia), (3) Technical Cooperation Directorate (Singapore), (4) Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), and (5) Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

On October 8, 2024, Professor Tongthong Chandransu, Chairperson of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA), along with Mr. Kirati Veruwan, NEDA Vice President, attended the handover ceremony of the detailed design study for the construction of the Chiang Man-Luang Prabang Bridge in Laos. The event coincided with Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra’s official visit to the Lao People’’s Democratic Republic, held at the Prime Minister’s Office in Vientiane.

Ms. Wilawan Phayanoi, Advisor on Financial and Fiscal System Development, accepted the handover at the 150th Anniversary Building of the Ministry of Finance on October 7, 2024.
