The Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA) (Public Organization), led by Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks, President of NEDA and Chair of the Volunteer Quality of Life Improvement Subcommittee, organized a public service event to "Remove Weeds and Water Hyacinths from Natural Waterways" in the Wat Lamut community. This event was held in honor of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother on the occasion of her birthday on August 12, 2024. Mr. Arthorn Soonjun as Mayor of the Wat Lamut Subdistrict Administrative Organization, local government officials, members of the Subdistrict Administrative Organization Council, and Wat Lamut residents participated in the removal of water hyacinths and weeds that obstruct waterways and canals. The event also featured a visit to learn about the development of unique creative basketry handicrafts, which generate income for the Wat Lamut community's artisan group, at the Wat Lamut Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Nakhon Chai Si District, Nakhon Pathom Province, on August 9, 2024.
