Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks, President of Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA) and Mr. Kirati Veruwan, Vice President organized the Press Tour to build the relationship between Thailand – Laos 2019 around the area of Hongsa - Baan Chiang Saen (Jompet, Luang Prabang, Lao PDR) road construction project at the distance of 114 Kilometer and the budget of 1,977 Million Baht which is to connect transportation network between Thailand and Lao PDR. The route starts from Baan Napung, Hongsa, Kwang Chai Buri and ends at Baan Chiang Saen, Jompet, Luang Prabang which can also connect Luang Prabang to China through route Number 13 and to Hanoi, Vietnam through the route Number 4. There will be only 3 hours travelling, which has reduced from 5-6 hours, from Nan twin city to world heritage city, Luang Prabang. Moreover, there was a chance for the press to interview and take photos at the start of the project at 0 Kilometer, the t-junction Baan Napung, Kwang Chai Buri, Lao PDR on 26th June 2019.
