NEDA led the representatives from Bhutan and Cambodia on a study visit to Department of Railway, Ministy of Public Works and Transpoort (MPWT), Lao PDR

On February 19, 2025, the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (Public Organization) (NEDA), led by Mr. Rapipit Promnart, Director of Policy and Planning Bureau, facilitated a briefing session for representatives from the Department of Surface Transportation, Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport (MoIT) of the Kingdom of Bhutan, and the Department of Railway, Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT) of the Kingdom of Cambodia. The session, held as part of the “Cross-Border Railway Development” study visit program, focused on the role of the Department of Railway, Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT) of Lao PDR in developing the railway system between Lao PDR and Thailand.

NEDA Joins New Year’s Merit-Making Ceremony at the Ministry of Finance
Mr. Kirati Veruwan, Vice President of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA), along with representatives, participated in a Buddhist chanting and almsgiving ceremony for the monks of Wat Ampawan to mark the New Year 2025. The event was presided over by Mr. Pichai Chunhavajira, Minister of Finance, and included a merit-making and almsgiving ceremony at the Ministry of Finance on January 6, 2025.

On December 20, 2024, Mr. Paitoon Chanthanapaiboon, Treasury Bureau Director of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA), extended congratulations to SME D Bank on its 23rd anniversary.
