Mr. Peeramet Wutthitornnetirak, the Director of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (Public) (NEDA) was the chairperson of the sub-committees driving the volunteers improving the life qualities and happiness of people with Colonel Saranyoo Wiriyawetchakul, the Vice Director of NEDA and the deputy chairperson of the sub-committees in order to conduct the voluntary project with the "The Voluntary Mind Development for Khlong Khon Mangrove Reforestation" at Khlong Khon Mangrove Forest Conservation Center in order to sustainably restore the ecosystem. There were over 50 managers and officers joining the activity to plant over 300 mangrove trees. Mr. Peenithi Rattanapong, the President of Khlong Khon Mangrove Forest Conservation, welcomed and provided knowledge at Khlong Khon Mangrove Forest Conservation in Khlong Khon Sub-District, Mueang District, Samut Songkram Province on 21st April 2023.

Colonel Saranyoo Wiriyawetchakun, the Deputy Director and the Vice President of Voluntary Group Empowerment Sub-Committees of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA) led the royal Thai volunteers to visit, restored the flooded area and helped the flood victims in Wat Mahat Thai School (Ponpramukwitthaya) in Ang Thong Province. Mr. Phaiboon Supphaboon, the Chief District Office of Mueang Ang Thong District, Mr. Watthana Sangchum, who was acting for the Director of Wat Mahat Thai School (Ponpramukwitthaya), the teachers and students welcomed and presented the Thai long drum dance that is an conserved identity of the people in Ang Thong. Then, the voluntary group improved the landscapes of the buildings of the schools, painted the canteen and playthings, restored the agricultural plots for the students’ lunches, and gave kitchenware and cleaning solutions on 31st January 2023.

Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks, President of Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA) long with Colonel (Ret.) Saranyu Viriyavejakul, D.Sc., Vice President led the management team for a donation of 100,000 Baht to King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Thai Red Cross Society to support the construction of new outpatient department building and prepare to support the increasing number of patients in the near future, under the project of “Medical and Public Health Integrating Center Construction Project, King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital”. Mr. Khan Prachuabmoh, Director of Donation HUB, was a representative. NEDA’s Royal Thai volunteers also participated in blood donation in an activity called “Filling the Hearts” at National Blood Centre, Thai Red Cross Society on 15th February 2022.

Colonel (Ret.) Saranyu Viriyavejakul, D.Sc., Vice President of Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA) along with volunteer team helped to remove all donations, durable articles and educational equipment as a share of happiness to children to facilitate an education administration. It was also to develop their learning and teaching. The group was also there to welcome a donation recipient, Mr. Phubet Pinkaew, Deputy Director of Budget Management Division, Niyomsilp Anusorn School on Thursday 4th March 2021 at Sun Tower Building, Vibhavadi Rangsit Rd., Bangkok. Niyomsilp Anusorn School is considered a Large secondary school with 1,700 students, subordinated to the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 40, Wichian Buri District, Phetchabun Province.

Colonel Saranyu Viriyavejakul, D.Sc., the Vice President of Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency participated in the “Stay side by side… Get through together” Project, led by Singha Estate Public Company Limited and allied companies in Sun Tower building, to provide equipment for medical professionals such as N95 masks, rubber gloves, Face Shield, alcohol gel and drinking water. Mr. Montien Pengsombat, M.D., the director of Pranangklao Hospital acted as a representative to receive such equipment at Pranangklao Hospital on 22nd April 2020.

Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks, NEDA’s Vice President, Acting President, together with the press, donated stationery, sport equipment, personal computer, and other equipment.
