Vientiane, Lao PDR, August 25, 2025 — Mr. Kirati Veruwan, Vice President of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (Public Organization) (NEDA), held discussions with Mr. Kawin Viriyapanich, Director of the Department of Export Promotion, Ministry of Commerce, and Mr. Wasin Keatparitus, First Secretary at the Royal Thai Embassy in Vientiane, Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR).
During the meeting, Mr. Kirati presented NEDA’s Midterm Plan for 2026–2030 and the Country Strategy for the same period. He also listened to opinions, suggestions, and an overview of the current economic situation and future trends in the Lao PDR. The objective was to gather comprehensive insights to ensure that NEDA’s strategic planning and operational activities are fully aligned with the context of Lao PDR, promoting sustainable and well-informed cooperation between Thailand and its neighboring country.
