Bangkok, 9 December 2025, Mr. Chakkr Boon-Long, Distinguished Board Member acting as Chairman of the Board of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (Public Organization) (NEDA), together with Mr. Kirati Veruwan, Vice President of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (Public Organization) (NEDA), attended the National Day celebration of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic. The event was hosted by the Embassy of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic in Thailand, led by H.E. Mr. Sisavath Inphachanh, Ambassador of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic to Thailand.
The event was held to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (1975–2025) and to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and the Lao People’s Democratic Republic. The ceremony was attended by members of the diplomatic corps, representatives from government and private sector agencies, as well as distinguished guests, to express and reaffirm the cordial and longstanding relations between Thailand and the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, at Athenee Tower, Bangkok.
