Thimphu, 28 January 2026 – Colonel (Ret.) Saranyu Viriyavejakul, D.Sc., Vice President of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (Public Organization) (NEDA), together with his delegation, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Gem Tshering, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of the Kingdom of Bhutan. The discussion focused on the possibility of establishing financial and technical cooperation between NEDA and Bhutan, particularly strategic collaboration and opportunities for NEDA to cooperate in the development of environmental and green technology (Environment and Green Technology). The objective is to reduce negative impacts on nature and to protect and restore the environment in a sustainable manner.
On this occasion, NEDA provided information regarding its principles and conditions of assistance to facilitate future cooperation for the benefit of the Kingdom of Bhutan. The meeting was held at the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, Thimphu, Kingdom of Bhutan.
