Yangon, Myanmar — September 8, 2025 — Colonel (Ret.) Saranyu Viriyavejakul, D.Sc., Vice President of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (Public Organization) (NEDA), together with a delegation, paid a courtesy call on Mr. Sakeson Sarobol, Ambassador of the Royal Thai Embassy in Yangon. The visit was made to extend respects and hold discussions on matters of mutual interest. The two sides exchanged views on key issues, including economic cooperation, the development of people-to-people relations, support for trade and investment, and approaches to strengthening development cooperation between Thailand and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
On this occasion, Ambassador Sakeson warmly welcomed the NEDA delegation and provided constructive insights on advancing various areas of collaboration between NEDA and Myanmar, highlighting their potential to benefit bilateral relations. This courtesy call further reinforced the spirit of friendship and cooperation between Thailand and Myanmar, fostering a foundation for continued stability and shared prosperity in the region.
