NEDA held a meeting to discuss Potential Pipeline Projects with Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA)

           On Monday 24th January 2022, Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (Public Organization) (NEDA) held a meeting on Potential Pipeline Projects, to assist 3 neighboring countries, which are Cambodia, Lao PDR and Myanmar, financially and academically; and introduce Country Strategy 2022-2027, with Thailand International Cooperation Agency: TICA. Colonel (Ret.) Saranyu Viriyavejakul, D.Sc., Vice President of NEDA and Mr. Rapipit Promnart, Policy and Planning Bureau Director, were representatives from NEDA to attend a discussion with Mr. Wattanawit Kochasenee, deputy director of Thailand International Cooperation Agency.

          The meeting aimed to present Country Strategy 2022-2027 to TICA so, the direction of NEDA’s cooperation for development was acknowledged. The discussion was about the progress of the operation under integrative cooperation plan between NEDA and TICA regarding training program design and field visit. Policy and guideline to arrange Third Country Training Programme were provided. The discussion also involved the suggestions to prepare NEDA’s Potential Pipeline Projects under purpose on Public Health Development and Human Resource Development: HRD. TICA is an organization with expertise on development cooperation to neighboring countries, which can integrate the operation with NEDA to provide guidelines as a support to the consideration of   Potential Pipeline Projects, according to Country Strategy 2022-2027, to create concrete achievement and sustainable development.
