NEDA consults with Prof. Satoru Matsumoto (Ph.D) on environmental policy

On 7 th March 2019 at Sun Tower building, Thanon Vibhavadi Rangsit, Prof. Satoru Matsumoto
(Ph.D.), Professor, Faculty of Intercultural Communication, Hosei University met with Senior
Colonel Saranyu Viriyavejakul, D.Sc., Vice President, Neighbouring Countries Economic
Development Cooperation Agency (Public Organization): NEDA and other officers involved to
consult about Environmental and Social Safeguards Guideline of NEDA and the assistance on
the Two-Way Road Improvement Project which will link Dawei Special Economic Zone: DSEZ and
Thailand-Myanmar Border.

On April 3, 2024, Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks, President of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA), and his delegation visited Mr. Jin Liqun, President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in Beijing, People’’s Republic of China. The visit, at the invitation of the AIIB, aimed to discuss collaborative approaches for financial assistance in developing infrastructure within the Mekong sub-region and to exchange visions for infrastructure development in the area.
