NEDA Discussed with the Department of Highways of Lao PDR to Consider the Variation Order (VO) for the 5th Thai-Lao Friendship Bridge

On 7^th December 2022, Mr. Pheeramet Wutthithornnetirak, the Director of the Neighboring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA), and Litta Khattiya, the Director-General of the Department of Highways, the representatives of the department, the representatives of the consultancy companies, the representatives of the contractors and the representatives of NEDA attended the conference to consider the variation order (VO) for the 5^th Thai-Lao Friendship Bridge the (Bueng Kan – Bolikhamsai) at the auditorium of the Department of Highways, Vientiane, Lao PDR. The mentioned project is the financial cooperation between NEDA and Lao PDR in the form of the loan amount of 1,380,067,000 baht. The progress of the construction at the end of November 2022 was 64.17%. It was scheduled to be complete in early 2024.
