Financial Assistance Agreement on R11 Signing Ceremony

On September 26, 2018, Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks, NEDA’s President, and H.E. Mrs. Thipphakone Chanthavongsa, Deputy Minister of Finance, Lao PDR, held the signing ceremony of Financial Assistance Agreement on the Construction of National Road 11 (R11) Section of Khok Kaodor-Non Savanh-Sanakam-Ban Vang-Ban Namsang Project and witnessed by the Ambassador of Royal Thai Embassy, Vientiane.

Financial Assistance on R11 Project was approved by Thai Cabinet on September 18, 2018, in form of concessional loan under the budget of 1,826,500,000 THB with 1.25% of interests rate. The loan period is 25 years (including 7 years of grace period). The Project will fulfill Chianmai-Vientiane Economic Corridor (CVEC) and facilitate transportation, trade, and investment between Thailand and Lao PDR.
