NEDA Discussed with AIIB

On 7th March 2023, Colonel Dr. Saranyu Wiriyawetchakun, the Deputy Director of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA), Mr. Phaitoon Chanthanaphaiboon, the Director of the Fund Administration Bureau, and the officers of NEDA welcomed Mr. Rodrigo Salvado, the Director General of the Operational Partnership Department of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in the occasion that he visited NEDA.
Both parties discussed about the guidelines for the cooperation and developments in Mekong Basin at Sun Towers, Vibhavadi Rangsit, Bangkok.

On April 3, 2024, Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks, President of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA), and his delegation visited Mr. Jin Liqun, President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in Beijing, People’’s Republic of China. The visit, at the invitation of the AIIB, aimed to discuss collaborative approaches for financial assistance in developing infrastructure within the Mekong sub-region and to exchange visions for infrastructure development in the area.
