NEDA held a meeting to discuss Potential Pipeline Projects with The Federation of Thai Industries

     On Monday 28th December 2021, Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (Public Organization) (NEDA) held a meeting on Potential Pipeline Projects, to assist 3 neighboring countries (Cambodia, Lao PDR and Myanmar) financially and academically; and introduce Country Strategy 2022-2027, with The Federation of Thai Industries. Mr. Rapipit Promnart, Policy and Planning Bureau Director, was a representative from NEDA to attend a discussion with Mr. Teerasit Sewatasila, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Border Trade of The Federation of Thai Industries. 
     The meeting aimed to present Country Strategy 2022-2027 The Federation of Thai Industries, so the direction of NEDA’s cooperation for development was acknowledged. The discussion was also about the situations regarding economy, trade policy, investment, neighboring countries’ infrastructure development; as well as roles and policy regarding international development cooperation, which would be the mechanism driving the country development in the dimension of economy and society of both government and private sectors. This would support the increase in border trade value, cross border and entrepreneur’s investment within industrial sector in neighboring countries. There was also the consideration of the guideline to connect Missing Link both hardware and software to determine guidelines to prepare for Potential Pipeline Projects, which in accordance with Country Strategy 2022-2027, in order to create concrete achievement and sustainable development.
