Colonel (Ret.) Saranyu Viriyavejakul, D.Sc., Vice President of Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA), and Mr. Rapipit Promnart, Policy and Planning Bureau Director, attended a meeting with Mr. Wattanawit Gajaseni, Deputy Director-General of TICA, and Mr. Prapan Disyatat, Deputy Director-General of the Department of East Asian Affairs, to discuss about the guideline to formulate NEDA’s cooperation strategic plan with neighboring countries (Country Strategy) between 2022-2024 on 3rd February 2021.

The visit, at the invitation of the AIIB, aimed to discuss collaborative approaches for financial assistance in developing infrastructure within the Mekong sub-region and to exchange visions for infrastructure development in the area.
