Mr. Peeramate Wutthonnetirak, the Director of the Neighboring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA), and the delegation attended the meeting with the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation (MPWT) led by H.E. Dr. Yit Bunna Secretary of State to discuss the policy(s) and find protocols to supervise the implementation of the Stungbot Permanent Border Crossing Development Project and the road linking to Road No. 5, the Kingdom of Cambodia in a more efficient way and it is expected to be able to be completed within the specified period at the MPWT meeting room, Phnom Penh, the Kingdom of Cambodia on July 6th, 2022.

The visit, at the invitation of the AIIB, aimed to discuss collaborative approaches for financial assistance in developing infrastructure within the Mekong sub-region and to exchange visions for infrastructure development in the area.
