On 8th December 2022, Mr. Pheeramet Wutthithornnetirak, the Director of the Neighboring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA), and Litta Khattiya, the Director-General of the Department of Highways, the representatives of the Department of Highways, the Department of Transportations, the Department of Planning and Finance, the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, the Department of International Finance and the Ministry of Finance of Lao PDR, and the representatives of NEDA attended the conference on the financial supports for the R12 road development Tha Khek – Ban Napao, Lao PDR, at the Department of Highways, Vientiane, Lao PDR. The mentioned project is the R12 road development project starting from the 13th Intersection of Tha Khek in Kham Muan Sub-District to Ban Napeo Checkpoint, Lao PDR through the Jalor Border Checkpoint in Quang Binh, Vietnam.
